Sound cracking and static noise
I'm having this problem since ever. After some time of gameplay, the sound starts to crack and just gets worse and worse. Does anyone know how to fix this?

What audio manager? Can you make a step by step of what you did?

Hi Razor,
Here a link of a screen shot from my computer, just do a right clic on the speaker icone and chose ''playback device'' In my case I had to disable all the ''AMD high definition audio device'' by right cliking on them and do disable Them I have 6 probably one for each possible screen...

If for a reaason you need to enable them again just right click on the same windows and chose ''show disable'' then enable them...

Hope it work for you guys!

No sucess. It seems like I have only one audio device. If I disable it, the sound is gone.

Well sorry , have you verify your audio card driver ? If you have one on board + one in an expansion slot, try to disable in the bios the internal one...

I have just an on board card driver. But it is ok. I'll keep searching for a solution

I'm running on Ubuntu 14.04 with an AMD 6850. Confirmed the problem.
As crazy as it sounds I just modified my sound balance while alt-tabbed out of the game. I closed and re opened and no problem. Give it a try.
