Steam cloud saves

So the game is syncing the saves of this game to the Steam cloud, however as most people will know the save manager in game is terrible and navigating to the correct save (or a past save) is a collosal pain in the ass. I want to start from scratch and remove my saves but doing it from in game bugs (save deletes but still shows in list). If I delete the files manually from the documents folder the cloud simply sync's it all back. I could disable cloud sync but I want to be able to play on multiple computers.

Any words of wisdom/advice?

Well... hopefully after 8 years you solved this.

But in case you didn't, I just solved it by:

1) Disable steam cloud sync

2) Move all my old save files (that I don't care much about) into a hidden_Saves directory which cannot be in the same directory where the other saves are (or the game will still find them in a subdirectory).

3) If I ever need to sync all my files again in steam cloud sync, I can just turn it back on and copy all the files in the hidden_Saves directory back into the saved files directory again.
