Ctrl+F for bPauseOnLossOfFocus=TRUE
Change TRUE to FALSE.
That should do it.
Game minimizing once i click on a window on second monitor :-(
Let me double check my other settings, see if i can find a fix for you.
Still looking around just in case it didn't.
To clarify:
I want to play the game on screen 1 and browse the Web / use skype on screen 2 at the same time. So i can look up some items stats, or tactics or whatever without leaving the game. For this to work the mouse has to be able to leave the game, at least i belive it has... any other way to get my mouse to screen 2, without this option?
Edit: Found a semi working solution... playing windowed mode. But if i wanted to play windowed, i could just as well use the browser on my first screen as well. Really odd. Never had this kind of "bug?" happening to me in any other game yet.
I do the same on X3, it doesn't have a lock to screen option, it's always on, I had to ALT+TAB it.
More potentials, there are a pair of lines of code in there
BorderlessWindow=FALSE
While mine are still set to false, maybe changing them to TRUE may help?
EDIT: Oh, sorry, my bad, I should have said I was on Windowed mode, should have said that to start with. Some programs don't let you move to other screens on fullscreen.
Actually that was the reason to buy a second monitor in the first place lol.
Back to oldschool Alt+Tab for checking the web and time to tell my GF that skypeing while XCOm is one will not work.
Thanks for checking this out for me tho!
It now looks like full screen, but i can click on my second monitor without it minimizing. The Taskbar is showing up tho and the game is in pause mode.
Should'nt bPauseOnLossOfFocus=FALSE prevent exactly this pause from happening?
That's strange, I don't have to use the Borderless Window mode. I personally don't mind the windows because I just change it so that my second monitor is my larger desktop monitor (my most powerful PC is my laptop).
It should be preventing that from happening. I don't have any other ideas for you, sorry.
