Is it me or is this mission almost impossible on Classic?

Once you get to the VIP, Thin Men start poping all over the place on Overwatch as usual. At that point in the game I usually have 4 guys and basic weapons/armors (I need satellites !) And I go against 13 guys + poison + I need to reload and they don't (they just pop out of nowhere, flanking me with brand new ammo) + I can't move they overwatch me + I can't stall they flank me. And also I have to keep that guy alive! Should I just skip that one? It's a nightmare, total wipe everytime.

I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the right mission but in general the prescripted missions are always exactly the same. And there is no time pressure at all. So just take your time. Take a turn to reload with half your guys and pverwatch with the other half. Then do the same and let the other half reload. Don't trick yourself into thinking you have to do something. Be very slow! Units usually spawn when the VIP crosses a certain line. You should also clear the entire map before talking to the VIP.

Here is the big secret: The extra Thin Mens don't appear until the VIP start to move. If you make him rush toward the evac zone, you will trigger multiples Thin Mens spawns and then you will be in big trouble.

Move the VIP slowly. When Thin Mens pop, don't panic, just hide the VIP somewhere safe and deal with them. After that you can take your time to reload your guns and reposition your soldiers. Extra Thin Mens won't pop until you get the VIP moving again.

Also they always pop in the same places, mostly on the roofs.
