I highly doubt it's that big. Enemy Unknown with the Elite Soldier Pack and Slingshot is 13.1GB on my files. The expansion can't be that large; it's probably how much space the game will take up WITH the expansion installed.

If you look at the size for X:EU, they also list a size of 20GB.

yeah, it's probably total, so that means the expansion's around 7GB......

If it's anything like most games these days, they also include what's required to be unpacked for the install. I'm going to guess somewhere in the 3-5GB range.

i wouldn't be so sure about 20 GB after install

Remember EW will need all audio from all language versions - vanilla ENG only takes over 12 GB now add 1,4 GB x 6 we have 8,4 GB for all voices and now add the new maps and the rest well i will be over 20 GB make no mistake.

20 GB that is saying it is for the original game,not the expansion.I am pretty sure it will not take 20 GB of space.

7.2GB. That's what the download says immediately following the game activation on my account.

The download may be 7.2 GB compressed download before it uncompresses on your system which may temporarily require more room than it ends up as. I have the complete pack (which includes Enemy Within, etc.) and my XCom-Enemy-Unknown directory (in Linux) currently contains 16 GB.

But sometimes things grow over time. When I first installed Team Fortress 2 it was about a 6 GB download that expanded to somewhere around 12 GB, but is now over 20 GB.
