Squadsight + Tactical Sense?
Does anyone have experience with this roulette combo? I'm curious if it's worth it. Granted, an SS sniper should be out of enemy LoS in the first place, but considering that my other ability choice for this rank is Sprinter, I'm leaning toward the added defense. The only thing is, if he won't get the bonus from enemies being in a squadmate's LoS, I may as well take Sprinter so as to lessen the amount of turns needed to take a good position on tricky maps.

I would take sprinter, especially with muscle fiber density.

Definitely under consideration, v. I guess before I commit to the choice, I need to know if Tac-Sense and SS are even compatible.

Arg. Another case of perk descriptions being a little too vague. It says confers +5 defense per enemy in sight which can be interpreted both ways when you throw squadsight in the mix.

I would say the tac sense would rarely see action and sprinter would be more useful in the long run even if you got the defense from squadsight vision, which would also imply that you were out of range.

Mustang! Thank you for understanding where I'm coming from instead of just quoting the description. You just made my day. :D And helped me make my decision. Sprinter it is. One highly-mobile, long-range killing machine coming right up.

I am pretty sure that Tactical Sense gives bonuses *only* from targets *the soldier himself* can see. Not squadsighted opponents.
