Cementery Bomb Disposal advice!
I am playing on Ironman Impossible (Long War). I am in July and im about to do the Cementery Bomb Disposal mission. Any good advice? This is one of my most feared missions in the entire game. I hate this map.

Take plenty of grenades, and make sure everyone who's gonna be in combat with the Thin Men has a Medkit - even if it has been used, the Medkit will provide partial immunity to the Thin Men Acid - they'll still have the aim and (maybe) the mobility penalty, but they won't take any damage when shooting or moving.

Best bet is Rocketeers and Snipers, with Scouts and Assaults - Rocket the cover and finish off the exposed Thin Men with your other Soldiers.

A Medic with "Paramedic" is extremely useful, as you can use this unit to move to a soldier who has been acid'ed, cure the acid and then hunker down or throw a Smoke grenade.

An Engineer is also useful just for the extra grenades they can carry.

Key point to remember - the more time you spend fighting the Thin Men, the less time you have to defuse the bomb, so don't get bogged down fighting them. Also, watch out for Thin Men with Squadsight (yes really) and Lightning Reflexes (yep, you read that right) - extremely dangerous.

i just did it yesterday on I/I, though it was april so somewhat easy, no regen thinmen

upon spawning, chose a side to go and do not even think of uncovering a single tile in the other direction otherwise, you ll be flanked(you may disarm the green box in front of you, it will trigger meanies, so that decides what side you go)

smoke grenades are very usefull for the first turns, grenades will help dealing with thinnies, and your steadyaim infantery finnishes the job

once you ve delt with the first two pods, it s a normal mission you shouldn t fail

if you did good, you should have one turn left before explosion, which is not an issue since you should have positionned your soldiers so they can disable 3 greenboxes in one turn

i had one sniper, two infanteries, one medic, one scout, one engineer, my scout died on turn two(oops) but i succeeded rather easily

hello, i have way bigger ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ problems than thin men..
6 muton ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pod..actually.. theres one 3 muton and 2 floater pod, and that 6 muton pod right in front of me instantly. no way to sneak around them..oh and they all have covering fire and gene mods... halp..
..those pods and also 2 muton and 3 floater pod right inside that big thing in the middle of the map.. and 4 extra mutons guarding the bomb itself

after a painful amount of brain usage and save scumming..actually not that much save scumming.. i have managed to put almost the whole squad in the medbay...and complete the mission :D

I don't give advice for ironman impossible long war. I'm pretty sure beagle save scums. like he'll redo the entire mission from the top if things go really badly.

judging from if people were playing cards with someone as lucky as beagle is, he'd be shot.

the cemetary isn't as bad as the pet cemetary. Take snipers and explosives, should be fine.
