XCom PC Touchscreen?

So thinking about getting a tablet soon (maybe wait for windows 10 tablet) and was wondering if its possible to play XCom touchscreen on a tablet?

I know its out on IOS and Android.....but im loooking at a windows based tablet really.

It really, really depends. Like EU will work on my tab 4 but EW will not. However, EW will work on my LG G2, for whatever reason. Neither game will work on my Nvidia shield portable device, which is infuriating.

My advice: Google what devices are compatible with the game.

EDIT: Oh wait, are you talking about the PC version or the app version? I'm talking about the app version.

I have never heard about special touch control support for the Windows version of the game.

According to http://xcom.wikia.com/wiki/Patch_%26_Update_(XCOM:_Enemy_Unknown) Enemy Within does have support for touchscreen devices (multi-touch).

just re-installed xcom on PC and sure enough theres an option in the controls to change to touchscreen, so may give this a go if i get a touchscreen tablet shortly.

FWIW, I've been playing XCOM EW on a surface pro 4 (i7) for the last couple of days and it works great.
