Can't start new game

I just bought the complete edition and can't start a new game. Using Win10 x64 Pro Insider build.

Any idea how to solve?
EDIT: This problem only occurs when launching Enemy Within. Everythings fine when playing the base game.

Check you installed the MSVCR100.dll module. You can download it directly, I think it's also a package of VCredit 2010 ++ (the library runtime packages often needed for games.)

I don't think it's missing. Anyway, I installed both x86 & x64 C++ 2010 redist packages. I can't figure it out why EW won't start a new game. Tried this:
