Achievement - By Our Powers Combined
Well, thought I would get this one when I sent out a sniper, assualt, heavy, and support. Each had a gene mod. Completed a small scout mission and got nothing for it.?

Is this a bug or becasue I have six solder slots open and only used four of them for this achievement ?

They have to be MECs.

There is one for gene modded soldiers too. I think you have to have 2 gene mods per soldier 4 soldier minimum.

I think they just to be meld units, so if it is all mecs I think it will be gotten.

There are four achievements for this aspect of the game:
1) The Meld Squad: field a full squad (minimum 4) where everyone has some sort of meld upgrade. Be it MECs or Gene Mods.
2) By Our Powers Combined: field four MEC troopers, each with a base class (heavy, sniper, assault, support.)
3) Mutatis Mutandem: field a full squad (minimum 4) where everyone has at least 2 gene mods each.
4) Rise Of The Machines: Field a full squad of nothing but MECs and SHIVs (obviously the shivs dont use meld though)

Thanks all for the info. I have all related achievements except the one I mentioned that I mistakenly thought was for gene mods rather than MECs. Will get it next run through as not enough meld now to field 4 MECs.

It's possible to get all of those in one run through, like I did, provided you put off using the Gollop chamber for a really, really long time. In one game I had six tier-3 mecs and every other soldier fully gene modded, and it only took me about 20 years game time. I think I beat the game some time in the year 2034-35.

lol, I tried that one game but there were so few missions that it became boring, so I just went for the final ship to end it. Trying to get one solder for all missions achievements now then will probably play one more game before I go on to something else.
