Just left negative reviews on XCom 1 and 2 due to the issues

Break my game and then ignore me? Great ways to get negative reviews on not only XCom 1 but also XCom 2. Why on earth would I say anything positive about games from devs that break what I've paid for?

Go forth and give an honest review, people need to be warned. If they fix it, I'll change it. But I'm not giving any positivity to a company that breaks what I've paid for and then just ignores it.

Neither of these games have seen any sort of updates in years, if they aren't working it's something on your end.
If we had more details we may be able to help fix it, or there even may be there's someone else that had the same issue and already found a solution.

Also the devs aren't ignoring you, for them to do that they would first have to know you even exist .

my guy, the forums are lit up over the issue, it was a recent update put out to the firaxis/2k launcher and it bricked some of the older games lol.

If it's a launcher issue then reviews for the game or trying to get the attention of fraxis is even more pointless.
2K, the publisher, are the ones that keep messing with the launchers.

As a customer, I don't care. And as someone with a financial interest in the game(s), 2K absolutely will care if they get the reviews they deserve.

My guy, how did a 2K Launcher update, the last of which was released in June, cause an issue on this game in October? This game doesn't even use the 2K Launcher.

Also, Alien Vs. Predator is having this same issue, and that game isn't even made by 2K. Someone in the discussions over there said it's an issue with Steam's DRM.

So it works now. Which means I get to boot up the game and discover that widescreen support has been broken for years and I still can't play.

So a new negative review I guess to reflect the older middle finger to the customer.
