Overwatch crash, at least a dozen times

I'm raiding the alien base with the skeleton key, and any time I have more than 2 players on overwatch that trigger a response attack, the game crashes. Not freezes, not locks, just shuts down. Using laser rifles for the most part.

Do not repeat the same moves that led to the crash as it will crash again.

I know this sounds cheesy but do not use overwatch for a few turns and see if it stops crashing. If it still crashes you might have to play the mission without overwatch.

If Nvidia Geforce graphic card, change the video drivers and find one that works with the game.
If older graphics card, could be any version from 306.23 to some say 314.22. If newer then a newer one like 335.23 or the beta perhaps 334.67 I think.

Yes, video drivers cause that or can cause that.

and if it did not happen before, then check your files on steam in Properties of the game.

And make sure you clean out old driver files by not installing any drivers until you get back to Standard VGA as your graphics on your computer. Then install the new drivers or do a clean install.
Make sure you have a proper Phys X early file also or that may not update either, which is over at the Geforce.com website where legacy PhysX files can be downloaded.

(ya, not really a fault of Nvidia, just a fault of usually the computer manufacturer if an older computer or graphic card).
