QoL/stability mod for Xcom Enemy Within

Hello guys, I already played Xcom: Enemy Unknown and it was awesome. I saw what Xcom Enemy Within had to offer and when I got it on Steam I was amaized with Meld, extra storylines and new units (I underestand there will be sabouteur splinter faction), but I gave up. Why did I do it, since I always finish games, especially if I like them? Because it was buggy and unstable. In a game where it is crucial to choose battles wisely, not having ability to rotate the planet due to a bug is a huge problem. There were problems with crushing (mostly in storyline missions) and overall it hindered my experience greatly. I am trying to find any mod, but I can not seem to find anything. Any recommendations? And please do not tell me to try Long War, I am asking here pricesly to actually find small QoL/stability mod to make aure I had enough of vanila experience. I won't even consider Long War until I finish both vanila Xcom games with expansions.
