i know, but as i said, they can't differentiate between codes from legit sites eg green man gaming, grey zone sites eg instant gaming, where some keys are legit and some are probematic, and pretty much always fradulent key sites eg G2A, penguin.
they can't even seem to safely differentiate their personally generated box keys, from otherwise generated keys. and that should definitely possible, to keep a registry
it just doesn't seem worth the hassle, and negative pr. especially with pre 2015 games when box keys were still a wide spread practice, at least in eu. expection being clear cut cases eg all purchases on stolen cards being revoked, as in your linked post
kinda, that would be legally grey sites. but that's still not really okay, not even factoring in the ethics of exploting other countries weak economies, because this greed always blows up in local peoples' faces eg current ps+ turkey situation. but there were also quite a lot of cases of stolen credit cards being used to purchase a ton of keys to then sell on market places. i believe that's what they meant.
I don't even remember where i got this from is from 2017
LOL i can't even log onto my Kinguin account wtf...
About the event, I got to be honest. Never really used Kinguin, just once i think. So the event for me at least was really good, i got around 10 games and not 1 dollar garbage bin games either. Nioh, Vanquish, Mad Max among others.
was the game removed from peoples libraries than it got restored back a few hours later??
