X-COM won't download

Trying to download the game but it keeps pausing and jumping out of the queue. Any ideas?

I found that it's an issue with Enemy Within. AT least on my end. The main game should be completely downloaded, but not Enemy Within. Not sure why or how to fix it

I'm also having this same issue. I've tried everything that I could think of and that other people have suggested. I've restarted Steam, my computer; I've verified game files; I've uninstalled and re-installed; I've tried manually downloading the DLC; I've even sat here for a couple of hours poking it through the download process, only for it to download the whole 7 gigs, then try to restart and say that download is corrupt when I try to start the game.

I've no idea what else to try. It's a shame, I really love XCOM and the EW stuff is really worth it. I wish it wasn't so difficult to navigate through Steam's support. I haven't even bothered to submit a ticket because I have no faith in their support. If anyone figures something out, please let me know, I'll definitely try it.

Did you try servers with little traffic like finland or portugal/spain (Settings->Download->Download Region then restart Steam)?

By the way the DLC will be downloaded with XCOM:EU in one download. You can check for DLC under Library->XCOM:EU right click Properties->DLC. I just bought it myself and I have only one item in downloads but all DLC under the DLC tab.

Solution was to reinstall Windows 8, extreme but it worked.

Unfortunately, I'm not doing this for a game DLC. xD Ah well, I guess. I'll need to start bugging Valve for a refund.
