I'm on EU, not EW, so Tac Rigging isn't an option for Non-Supports

seems like you took injuries on your heavies and can't just use rockets to deal with Terror mission. play conservatively, don't try to save more than 2 civs, use explosives. dont worry about weapon fragments.
whats left? On EW I would recommend having some alloy shivs kicking around if you are racking up losses.
You do have a medkit to be immune to chryssalid poison? Use heavies rockets to deal with the chryssalids.
heavies that low rank and assault dont stand much chance against a cyberdisk (aim penalty is too high). I expect your major with a scope has best chance to hit it. A cyberdisk will only throw one grenade so try to let him waste that one at an unit who is behind undestructible cover. Shoot at the cyberdisk standing behind indestructible cover because its plasme will destroy your cover.
Squad and Map, Mission Start

This is Turn 4 or 5 of the same game. There are 4 Cryssalids and 2 zombies outside LOS in the building.
I have never survived past this point. Going slow/not leaving spawn causes at least 3 Cryssalid pods and the Cyberdisk to advance by turn 3 and 2 rockets is never enough to deal with them before I get squadwiped.
At this point I'm strongly considering abandoning the playthrough and using what I've learned to hopefully not get to this point again.
I don't even have my foundry fully constructed at this point and have never fielded a shiv before. Idk if I've ever even built one.
Half the civvies on the map are at spawn usually anyway so that isn't a problem, but I only have 2 rockets to work with and neither heavy has shredder or danger zone so they're pretty crap.
Also, I'm pretty stacked on resources so I'm only doing this mission to keep 3+ countries from abandoning XCOM. Panic management has been really rough and I'm still not sure what Classic does to the systems I'm used to from Normal
I think My primary issue here is how fast every enemy on the map is on my ass. By turn 3, even if I don't move at all, there are 3 pods MINIMUM right in my face, and with only 4 guys there's only so much they can do before the purple reapers come for them.
but tbh i think you better accept you failed that mission. On that map its impossible to carefully explore, and i think you lack the shooting power to deal with the chryssalids and the lack of aim to hit the cyberdisk
also you have no full cover when outside so especially the cyberdisk will one-shot your units one by one.
Thanks for the map name, and yeah I think you're right about the rest.
In my experience so far, going left has actually killed me faster because there are always 3 pods in that main room, whereas in the storage area there's usually only one (but that area is also LOS hell so it isn't much better).
It almost seems like playing this like XCOM 2 will work out better than my Normal dif. bad habits...
the terror mission with cyberdisk you face now is notorious :c it got me so many times.
my tactic with the game is so sacrifice a large continent like USA or Europe. I wlll try to explain since my english is kinda bad...
When you get to choose one mission to do (out of the three) i never pick USA or Europe so soon a whole continent will be lost. But since those continents have so many countries the game will still select them. So soon you dont get to choose out of 3 missions anymore but only 2. The mission concerning the country that would be on your lost continent will be blank.

Having at least 2 well leveled heavies is pretty important, you'll need the firepower. I'd even consider 3 for some situations.
Looking at the situation, you can always just abandon the mission. Small maps like that are going to require lots of firepower in order to take down mobs. But not enough men and little space, it looks like it's going to be a slaughter there.
