XCOM won't start
Hi!

I installed XCOM enemy within today but It won't start, not even load the game, nothing happens when I click play.
I tried verify cache and It's everything ok, I tried other games and they start normally...
Could someone help me?

Thank you!

Have you restarted your computer? Sometimes it's a steam issue that can be resolved by restarting.

Open your task manager.

Go to "processes".

Check if there is an XCOM process running.

End it if so.

Then click the play button again and wait.

No, there isn't an XCOM process running.
A few months ago I played with this same PC, I don't know what's wrong

I don't know. Um, make sure it isn't blocked by something like a firewall or anti-virus.

I checked that too, thank you for your help!
I found something I think, I went to Binaries>Win32 and started the game from there and It says MSVCP100.dll and MSVCR100.dll are missing, do you know what's that?

Those are like VCredist files. If you see a .exe inside the game files for VCredist, run them. Yours might be old.

Alternatively, you could uninstall/reinstall xcom and hope it does it automatically.

OMG MAN It worked, the VCredist .exe, It fixed it!
Thank you so much! :D
