Curing problems?
Is it me or is anyone else having problems with curing a child with a status aliment, like ALL of them. i know malt haves a few skills that you can gain by filling up empathy more, but even WITH that sometimes it feels like it doesn't work, same goes with another child's ability TO fix it as well. Example: Boron's protect is supposed to heal a child's injury. i'm guessing its supposed to have RNG in it (which kind of makes it a pain), but it feels like its not working at all. same goes for the items as well.
also i am on the nintendo switch so i guess it can be different from whichever platform its on, for me its a pain if i keep spamming the skill and it STILL doesn't fix anything.

I believe the description for Boron's ability is a mistranslation. It doesn't remove injury, it grants 50% resistance to injury; he had the same ability in the first game.

I haven't had issues curing any other status ailments, though.

ah, well that could have been avoided if they fixed that, they made me waste a bit of energy cell items that i could be saving later, thanks for the tip!

Yes. The only way to cure depression is with AP in the intermission, even though depression locks you out of all link and special attacks until cured. Some mobs will AOE depression gas on your party in later levels. Stupid to put a status ailment that cant be cured with an item.

It seems that ailments work the same way as the first game tho, depression is like the equivalent of hurt/downed, but for fear

there are like a handful of skills that can cure injury/depressing but I just checked the Japanese and yeah it's specifically Boron's that's mistranslated for some reason, just giving you a "resistance" to injury.

edit: also while I'm here in case this bamboozles anyone else, Peace Candy specifically only targets the user. The English text doesn't really make this clear just saying "Relieves Depression" and then displaying every character in the row. The Japanese is more specific "Relieves Depression *of the user*"
