Yea EA is huge red flag, the other is gay colors (all this purple again) and 2 girl-bosses (probably lesbians). This just stinks SBI and "the message" again, and Im tired of it. Pass.

EA is just the publisher. Remember, It takes two was the same with EA and became Game of the year. And it was SO well deserved. Can´t wait for this one

This! I don't like EA as much as the next person but HL have a proven track record of pretty great games. I like fun games so will be picking this one up, heard the story is weak to start but has a banger of an ending. The fun game play will see it through

If thats the case then im happy. I just dont trust reviewers at all, they lie very often and tend to 'forget' to mention this kind of stuff.

The game's dialogue is utterly cringe. Even GAMERANX, which is very lenient with modern writers, said it was cringe. I watched most of the cutscenes, and there wasn't a single one that wasn’t cliché or using slang that hasn’t been used in almost 20 years ("Yo, that was epic," "Sick moves").

SPOILER maybe? The whole story boils down to "white people/big corporations are screwing over the little guys," and they try to do the "if we point out this is a cliché, it's not a cliché" cliché.

The whole thing feels like an allegory for AI, yet at the same time, it feels like it was written by AI. And it's lowkey hypocritical,they complain about how AI mixing and matching others' stories is stealing and morally wrong, but constantly referencing video games is just "an homage." totally not lazy nostalgia-baiting.
