Why is Quantum Conundrum not listed as a Controller Supporting Game in Steam?
Why is Quantum Conundrum not listed as a Controller Supporting Game in Steam? It is a shame, because it works fine for me in BigPicture Mode, out of the Box with a XBox Controller. I think it would be good for this game if people would see this, if they were looking for a controller supported game in Steam.

I just noticed this myself, and completely agree. I hope they change it - it makes me wonder what other games actually Are Controller-Supported. I'd buy a whole lot more if I knew for sure.

I started pc play about a year ago, so Im used to console controllers. I prefer to play everything on an xbox 360 controller, and only use keyboard/mouse combo when playing point and click adventure games ( also legend of grimrock, but that is the only exception ). Half of the games I own dont have controller support, especially old classics, and thats why I use joytokey. Its kinda tricky to set the proper configurations first, but once you know what you are doing, you can play any game with a controller using this program. Its free, so I recommend it to everyone.

There are actually a lot of games in the steam store witch are not listed as games with Controller Support. I mean its their loss, if people are not buying their games. But i hate to see that developer and publisher are losing that income witch they could use to make more/better games. i mean if the steam box is coming out, probably with controllers, this would be a big problem when your games library is missing games, but not actually missing them, because someone forgot them to be listed as "controller supporting". i hope those developers and publishers change that soon. we lost too many of them in during the last years

Games using UE3 have X360 pad support out of the box. It is intergral part of this engine.
Why isn't QC listed as pad supported - I bet this is just a mistake (they have loads of games to rewiev). I would report it to steam support.
The main point that it isn't listed as controller supported in Big Picture library's listing. I can do some research and find out which game support or not, but games not being listed makes it harder to find for me in my own library of games. Actually for people who wants to know about controller-supported games - you may add me to talk, I have wide array of games which I at least tried and do know where controller is supported and where is not (so goes for local-coop/splitscreen/couch multiplayer also, I'm that type of player).

My controller seems to work fine for the most part except for some reason the left trigger won't register, leaving me unable to change to heavy dimension. The button itself isn't broken according to my calibration test in Windows, but it doesn't do anything in this game for some odd reason.

I have been trying to play this with a controller for almost a 8 months. It was working up great until one day I tried it with my kids who had started playing & it just stopped working with any controller.

I can't imagine this was a developer issue. It was likely some Steam update that killed it, though I really don't know. Trying to contact Steam support has been a joke. Maybe i should reach out to that attorney who was doing a class action against them. Who knows, maybe there is something to their claims about Steam somehow screwing customers. I hate to believe that, though I just don't see how this can't be resolved with a customer being able to contact Steam support directly with the developer support on the phone too. I have resolved so many issues with multiple parties involved when you can get all 3 talking to each other at the same time. Tech support can ususally figure out which side the problem is on & then being able to follow up with specific support individuals to see how the fix is coming along was standard service in multiple industries a few years ago.

This is beyond frustrating.
