"go to the armory to pick up your new weapons" not working because i spent diamonds on ammo upgrade?

the building im in has a crossbow and two shotguns but i cant actually progress this mission because i bought the assault rifle ammo upgrade and cant "pick it up"? help

Hope you have a save prior to that. - You'll have to buy a weapon to advance.

If you need a save at that point you can find one here under 'Saved Games (etc..)'

So far I always made it work if I just picked up one of the DLC weapons in the crate.

Sorry, I forgot to add:
I restarted my game and loaded a save from right after buying the upgrade (and saving at the medkit thing) because my last save was 1 drive ago, which is not really that long so I'll just load that save when I start the game again. I did pick up all the weapons in the crate in the middle (crossbow, primary shotgun and secondary shotgun) but the objective did not advance no matter what

Thanks for this info ! - I vaguely remember getting stuck once but wasn't sure how
I solved it.

DLC weapon will complete this objective, so it's sounds like you have a big or something. Never seen that before.

You've capped your frame rate, and enabled V-Sync?

I had the same.
The only thing that worked - I found more diamonds and bought brand new Makarov.
