How to get a buddy a rescue-ready again
Hello,

I died while travelling because of bad luck before even reaching my target. After a rescue I slept until another day (enough hours) but my buddy is still not ready.
How does the mechanics work? I forgot everything since my last play 1.5 year ago...

Later I slept in a different house for an hour and my rescue buddy appeared. Maybe it requires longer for him to appear?

You might have had to leave the area to trigger his reappearance..
