Loading times are crazy long
The game is installed on HDD. I have also seen that there are people other than me who use HDD and do not experience long waiting times. If the problem was caused by the HDD, they should have specifically stated this in the system requirements. Like Starfield and Cyberpunk. I'm thinking of returning the game just for this reason, so I stopped playing. I guess we don't know if there is a problem that can be fixed or not.

My views are that just because it is 2023 it can't be assumed that everybody has and will use SSD for this game. We are not on console with standard hardware across the board. This is the PC market and if it is absolute must then it needs to be mentioned either in requirements or in reviews just the same way that they mention the usage of Denuvo DRM. So far I was wondering if that can affect performance.

As somebody who has spent over a decade working in IT, I can say that it isn't always that if a software is 100gb then it will take time to load. It doesn't matter if that is media heavy, it is called optimisation. Further, this is a fighting game. I can understand if this was to happen in a mode like Krypt or Invasions but even then there is something like how many details must be loaded at one point and where. Hitman and Payday series are also storage heavy so is Forza and the categories these games fit in would ideally require longer time for the content/level they must load yet I don't have a problem with them on HDD so I would expect no problem with game either. I didn't have any with the previous iteration but then didn't come across any posts claiming so. Another point to consider before making the purchase.

Bro It's a fighting game... Moreover, as I mentioned, if this were to cause a problem, they should have specifically stated this as "SSD required" in the system requirements.

Don't worry OP, I have the same issue with a HDD and it would be bs if this game requires an SSD.

Come on man you can find a 1tb nvme for only $30 nowadays. 500gb ones for like $20 or less. do yourself a favor

I don't even have any FPS or stuttering issue though, but this loading times drives me crazy. probably this will be the reason for refund.

Bro I get it. What I'm trying to say is that if they had stated this in the system requirements, I wouldn't have bought this game before. That's why I didn't buy starfield.

C'mon ..HDDs are for datastorage only at this point. SDDs are pretty standard for games these days. They don't have to exclude slower hardware in Systemrequierments, since it`s "just" longer loading times...wich is on your side with your chosen hardware. They still maybe could add it as "recommendet" though if it's a big problem.

Dear bros, this is not an open world game, It's a fighting game. Do you think it is normal for a fighting game to have such a long loading time? I think it's as abnormal as the fact that I don't use an SSD in nowadays. Because there is no such problem in SF6.

Thank you for your feedback, I was glad to finally come across someone who could give a logical answer.

That's really weird... I have really fast loading times (1-5 seconds) and had no issues with the game other than the story mode sometimes being really fast for no reason

How long does it take to enter the fight?
It's HDD we are talking about.

I got the game installed on nvme Samsung 990Pro (it's a Gen4 but running on Gen3 motherboard slot), you snap with the fingers and you are in...

You really should consider buying the SSD. At least SATA one, it's really cheap and it'll speed up the loading times significantly. NVME Gen3 are really cheap too...

I had massive load times even on a SSD until I turned texture detail from "very high" to "high".

honestly that is the last thing I want to turn down but that did the trick for me
