Planets:
The fact that we are interacting with moons does not imply we are orbiting a planet based on the above astrological definitions. There could be no planet nearby at all! But then what is?
Perhaps we are orbiting the company/Gordion?
+ maybe the company we work for only owns / buys moons (like how spirit halloween only buys old warehouse stores, and not for instance, a closed down restaurant lot)
+ the final reason i figure is that the employees could theoretically escape and live somewhere on an entire planet, but on a moon you're easily traceable and couldnt survive on your own due to lack of resources.
BUT for out of game reasons, maybe zeeker is saving the planet/s we orbit for the end game update
