Pretty straightforward. Some ppl who got toasters (includes me) can't play the game. (I'm keeping the game refunded. Once they add the settings, I'll rebuy the game again if it is added and my computer can handle it. Sorry that it had to be this way.)

If your computer can't run lethal company a good game I recommend is zork

It would be nice if they at least supported FSR. I checked and the game ships with a DLSS dll so it's probably enabled by default, and FSR would be a nice boost for APU systems. Steam Deck especially, which for one reason or another struggles to get over 40 FPS despite (IIRC) not really taxing the CPU or GPU.

It might not actually help though, I can't say. There's a handful of games I've played (Ship of Fools is another) that won't go over 40 FPS regardless of any settings or resolution so it's probably something that needs to be fixed in Proton rather than the game.

It doesn't matter the quality of the game, it should have graphics settings. One of my friends can't play with us because their laptop is 4k and the upscaled resolution makes it crash their game. It's not unreasonable to expect the bare minimum of fullscreen + resolution settings

It's a game that runs on Unity and was made by one person, what do you expect? The Dev was a Roblox Dev before this.

Just use this mod. It allows you to fine tune settings such as texture quality and the resolution the game is rendered at. I lowered my settings a bit and got a big fps boost.

I wouldn't have wrote this if making the settings bare minimum on HDLethalCompany worked.
