100% doable, but will start getting difficult once you start getting higher quotas... especially the moons you have to purchase can be rough by yourself.

you can but it is much harder and it will mean you pretty much are not allowed to die or you lose everything

i solo play with mods to make it a little more forgiving, i give myself x2 time and a couple extra inventory slots

a lot of your time will be spent hauling 2 handed items because you have nobody to help you :S

It is built around being played with others so you can but won't be getting the true experience. 90% of the fun is having your teammates go quiet and not quite knowing what got them, or having them start panicking over walkies, or come running back to the ship just for a bridge to collapse on them etc. If you don't have friends or like me you do but they all have lives so you are the only one available to play (FML lol) then there are plenty of games to join and hosting is sure to have others show up. If that fails, there is a community section here on steam dedicated to finding a team.

How do you get mods for Lethal Company anyway?

Thunderstore and r2modman.

You can either go to Thunderstore to download mods manually, there are video tutorials on doing that, but I dont recommend that as mods tend to update very often and you will be outdated in no time.

r2modman is the better option, it's a mod manager for Lethal Company (and many other games) sourcing their mods from Thunderstore, but automating the process of downloading, installing, updating, configuring and sharing mods. This is the recommended way and it makes it very easy to play in modded lobbies with friends.

r2modman definitely makes things easier.

It's definitely possible. I've so far made it to a quota worth around 1400 on complete solo. i have been using a "glitch" though. by leaving and rejoining while still on the planet, since the game doesn't save until in orbit, if you die or you don't get enough scrap you can just leave and rejoin. i know it's a bit cheap, but I've been doing my solo save file without any mods at all (mostly cause I'm not too sure if my friend wants to get the same mods) so i think it's fair that i get at least some sort of advantage, yk?
