No, if someone is running mods that modify the lobby. [8+ Players etc.]
Host can use mods like the one that prevents spiders from spawning or changes the number of days on the quota etc
Client can use ones like the minimap, ship scan, probably F for flashlight mod etc.
I tried to use a mod that technically modifies the lobby (Its supposed to let people join inbetween moons instead of only at the start), and unmodded players were able to join, but it also immediately broke the game after the first moon by softlocking us and I had to remoe it.
The safest way to use mods with a group is just make sure everyone is using the same mods.
