I must say I agree with you... I love the game, and managed to do a few challenges, but it's too much.. I hate timed challenges and take no damage crap... It's just annoying...

Ok, on a serious note though... once a player unlocks dash ability, game gets broken. You can dash into a crowd. Compensate lost time in a medium distance. Deal impressive damage with it and build up courage.

Oneiros, wait for dash ability and retry timed trials again.

Timed challenges generally suck. Here though only the first one is hard, plus a couple of chests.

Why you are even complaining about time trials, if there's no achievements related?
Just ignore it then, the reward for them is a stupid hat anyway

The game is too easy, the timers are just way too high specially for enemy fights, you probably are not using your Rot skills combine with parry. The platform trials, i only had issues with the last one because of the annoying laser right at the end.

Oneiros,... Amen to that! I rage quit after finding out that all of Kena's outfits and many of the Rots hats are locked behind timed limit combat challenges and the new game plus mode as well. Ember Labs cab go to hell for that brain dead decision! I rated this game 9'5/10 when I first saw it, but it wound up with a 3.5/10 after plating it. What a shame!

Escapist, Yeah they are optional, except for those of us that want to collect all of Kena's outfits and all of the Rots hats. That's not what I consider optional, but more like forced. Screw Ember Labs stupidity and idiocy!

AerialComb, It's not about being too easy or too hard, it's about forced time challenges that many of us despise, in order to get outfits and hats.

Like I said above - use dash ability. It completely breaks the game and time won't be a problem. :)
