Brilliant visual novel if played through with a friend, and you both get into your characters, the game oozes character and style, it leans very heavily into it's tropes, the old grizzled detective, on one last case before retirement, and the rookie, naive detective dropped into the seedy underbelly of the city filled with potential corruption.

The asking price for the game is worth it even for a single play trough, however it is worth playing at least twice, swapping over your roles, and potentially more to make the other choices you have available during the game.

Will your unlikely duo solve the case? or will the old detective go back to his old ways? This is all up to you.

Now, the English translation can be spotty in some places however if you're reading along aloud with the game the mistakes are easy to gloss over and make sense of, there are some points of racism and less than modern views in the game, however this in my opinion just helps build the world, just keep this in mind if this is something you would rather not see/read.
