Bad Nvidia Driver, 576.02
Do not use this driver. Use last driver in march.

576.02 has a nasty bug, which causes the tempertaure sensor to "get stuck", which causes the core clock of your gpu to go down to minimal values because it "thinks" it's thermal throttling, when it isn't.

Yep, the temperature thing happened to me and I'm glad I caught it before starting this game. No need to update.

It's Nvidias fault for not having the hotfix driver on the driver page or come up as an optional download in the app. Unless you regularly check the nvidia forums or tech sites you would have no idea that there even was a hotfix.

thanks for the hotfix! I didn't know there was one!
I'm still using 566 from November lmao. No issues whatsoever in any game.
Manually set ur fan speed and np. It only happens when you come back from sleep mode.
What if you are using a 30 series Ampere GPU? should I stay on the last know stable driver or get the hotfix post Clair Obscure driver.

I'm on that driver right now and I still have this issue with a RTX 3080. I'll try the hot fix driver released today though and see if that makes a difference

I also am using an older driver. mine i think is even older than yours. haha. my rule of thumb is play the game and if the games run fine i do not upgrade the driver because sometimes more than not, the newer drivers are bad in some way. So, I only upgrade my Nvidia driver when absolutely necessary.

That is the best one to use for most games. Indiana Jones is when they started breaking everything in their drivers left and right. Sadly, many games no longer work with these drivers, Cyberpunk 2077, Avowed and Oblvion will just crash immediately if you try to boot them using those drivers.
