[READ] Bugs and issues!
Hello, Expeditioners. What a LAUNCH day!

We have made this form,[sandfallinteractive.typeform.com] which you can use to report your issues. This will help us read, triage, and prioritise optimisations and fixes.

We are looking into Ultra Wide optimisation and support, and we are aware of the current bug on UW monitors that causes the incorrect resolution to display after a cutscene. This is being looked at as a priority, for remedying ASAP, alongside many other fixes and optimisations.

We are looking at as much as possible, reading your feedback, and prioritising our fixes! But, the centralised form at the top will be super useful to us. :)

Thank you ALL for your interest, excitement, and for playing the game.

We will continue to use this thread and update it on a rolling basis to reflect issues and fixes as we roll them out.

Update 02.05: We have patched a bug in NG+ where players would be unable to progress their battle with the boss at the end of Stone Wave Cliffs.

We are still working on a variety of fixes and optimisations, but were able to quickly get this live on Steam before the weekend. Stay tuned for further updates next week on upcoming patches.

Update 09.05:

Patch notes are up for today's patch! This includes Ultrawide improvements, some balance changes, many areas of Softlock on the maps, and more. Check it out here.

Thanks, amazing game, just to say.
The only issue I've had so far is relating to the ultra widescreen zoom. Other than that the game has been flawless.

The game is amazing so far, félicitations for the launch.
On a technical point, It would be great if you could add FSR to the game it's really a missing feature.
And maybe HDR if it fits your artistical view for the game.
Gamepass version doesn't support dual sense controller.

Figured it out! I'm using headphones connected to a SoundBlaster audio card, and I had to go into the SB config utility and switch from 5.1 Surround to Headphones. Looks like the dialogue is on a channel that's not active with headphones.

I am having issue when using controller (8BitDo Pro2, Xbox layout). After reaching Act 1, near the first checkpoint, the characters are unable to sprint forward (towards the camera direction), but able to sprint to the sides (away from the camera direction)

No issue when mouse and keyboard control

Getting 'UE Sandfall Fatal Error' constantly after first boss. Game is unplayable as it is.
The game has really bad oversharpening and boiling/flickering shadow issues sadly, no matter what upscaler

I am playing on my Samsung G9 and the FOV gets borked after combat. I am playing on 32:9 aspect

Game crashes every time im about to meet sophie. As soon as I get near her and the cutscene is about to start the game just crashes so I cant even progress the game.
Game repeatedly crashing randomly.
I've got a MSI Raider 18HX, 14900HX, 4090M with 64gb RAM. The game repeatedly crashes randomly after 5-10 minutes. The event viewer log showed this ONCE but i've crashed about a dozen times with no other crash logs. The video freezes while audio continues playing until it crashes to desktop with no warning. I've been trying to figure this out for 4 hours now.

I've already reinstalled the latest driver and about to try rolling back, but does anyone have any suggestions or having the same issue?

Update: I updated my bios, rolled back drivers twice, and also reinstalled the game. I also dropped the settings all from epic to high and that seemed to give me about 40 minutes of gameplay vs 5-10 but that doesn't really seem to make sense. Even on epic, my computer can handle it at a constant 60fps. Gonna try high one more time and if it crashes again, switch to medium. Event viewer isn't showing anymore crash logs though. When it crashes, it's not immediate. The video video freezes but the audio continues playing for about 60 seconds before it goes to desktop. I also noticed it happens most frequently, 9/10 times, during cutscenes.

Update 2: Can confirm it crashes almost every time during a cutscene. It crashed outside a cutscene ONE time. Fought the first story boss (flying dude) and during the death cutscene it crashed again.

go setting in steam(by the tabs on top, just named ''Steam'' in this case), then in-game option, and turn the top setting on (steamoverlay) worked for me after a plenty of autosave explanation crashes (which came after first crash)), can't be CPU or GPU I use a T CPU with maximal 35 watt energy use (mostly 12% utilized). and a 3090
