no Need, its singleplayer

sure it will be cracked the same day, but Denuvo really only safeguards a week anyway.

waste of money to put it on Single player games

denuvo cracks take often month. some games were never cracked. denuvo just got removed. dont get me wrong i am against punishing paying customers too but to say denuvo does not do its job is being blind to reality.

it may be questionable how much this truly serves companies but one thing is undeniably true. denuvo as a protection does protect

Nobody cracks Denuvo, because it's more profitable to sell offline activation services.
When pirates say Denuvo games are "rentals," they literally mean it. They go online pay like $5 to activate the game and play for 2 weeks, as opposed to buying the game.

Even I would say that straight up buying a Denuvo implemented game is rental until they remove it, with offline activation you pay less.

If Denuvo would only protect the game a single week no one would use it, try thinking a bit harder next time

Video games don't need that kind of "protection", especially single player games, the belief that it's somehow "protect and improve sales" was based on a misconception anyway.

Consider how this industry isn't the kind that no one can't make mistakes or doesn't keep shooting themselves in the foot till it too late AND WON'T BLAME THE GAMERS FOR THEIR MISTAKES, maybe we can simply put the "if it not work why they using" idea in the trash heap.

Worst take ever. No, Denuvo safeguards as long as they keep it, that's why games that still have denuvo haven't been cracked months later.

No it's based on simple common sense no matter how pirates try to spin it. If people can't pirate it, many will buy it, not all of them, but many. Saying that it doesn't affect sales, is plain ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Source : trust me bro
I can reverse your words and say, there is a lot of people buying with no denuvo just to support this or the opposite of this not buying cause there is denuvo.

You reminded me why I don't go into steam forums. Dudes out here stating objectively false information with all the confidence of a fact lmao. That's the exact reason the world is in the state its in.

If this game has Denuvo, I would buy it. But now, I'll just wait and keep refreshing the megathread lol.

Neither can be proven. The only thing we have to go off of is common sense, which states that someone buying a game because it doesn't have denuvo, or not buying it because it has denuvo, is a relative handful, compared to the human nature that is taking something desirable for free if given the option.

Like cmon bro. I don't know if you pirate, but if you do, I guarantee I pirate more than you. It doesn't mean I have to be delusional about it and it doesn't mean you have to either.
