Please optimize for Steam Deck
The demo ran, not great but ran. Now Valve has slapped the game an Unsupported since IT CANNOT RUN WELL ON DECK Rating
Please optimize for the deck a bit so we can play it there, its an ideal game for portable. And its slow paced nature means framegen for instance might make it passable on Deck
At least get it to Playable status. Thanks!

Definitely seriously looking forward to this game but Steam Deck support is a must for me to play
They've said they're looking into Steam Deck support, but it probably will not be immediately available/verified at release.
I hope they prioriize it
I'll be here if they manage to get it to run, even if I have to play on low settings.
I really hope they pay attention to the deck
Can't imagine playing such a beautiful and immersive game on something with a screen as small and basic as the Deck. Especially the none OLED version. But each to their own!

Listen: I have an OLED Steam Deck, and sometimes I just want to play games in my bed lol.

Haven't gotten as much use out of a device that set me back $700 as I probably should, so there's that too D:

Yeah, I hear you. I'm sure it will still look good enough, and I definitely understand the appeal of playing from the comfort of a bed. Enjoy! (in a few days)
Portability is useful

I have a PS5 and a 65' HDR 4K TV.
I still play everything on the OLED deck if they are playable.
I just prefer it.

I had the OLED and although going OLED was a big step in the right direction from Valve, 720p still felt like old tech, even on such a small display. I understand why it was done, but still thought it made the display seem a bit crappy. I guess the Deck 2 whenever it happens will have a Full HD display along with a considerably better processor to power games at 1080p.

No, 1080p on a small screen is a terrible idea that nintendo should not have gone with. At that 7to8 inch size even with max dpi/ppi theres is no point in going beyond 900 at most. Any gain will be pixelpeeping borderline placebo, will result in it being much harder to maintain native at good framerates or at all, so worse visual quality or framerates and even when you can hit it ITS A WASTE OF BATTERY. I hope the next deck either stays 800p or ups to 1600*900 which would be a pretty big upgrade already and more than fine. With the added benefit of no black bars on games that only do 16:9

That's unusual. Usually they slap "Playable" or even "Verified" on games and they very much DO NOT run because of Proton. This is an improvement, lol.

I havent seen screwups of sotware compatibility that bad in a a while to their credit, but I do take issue with inconsitency. Verified/Playable in terms of performance can sometimes mean "less than ideal performance but still Playable when compared to releases with not great performance and visuals that made it onto consoles like ps3, ps4 or switch before" and sometimes, that same standard is deemed too low and gets games people are playing regularly slapped with Unsupported.
I'm also still mad Baldur's 3 is verified when Larian screwed Act3's performance and never fixed it
