Linux/SteamOS Support?

Any plans for a Linux/SteamOS port? Since Earth 2140 is already being ported, I figured we might be lucky. I'd instantly buy it for Linux!

A native linux version. That is great.
This apart from the linux port based on Wine they have already released?
"We made a Linux port and released it. The port is done with Wine and is tested for latest Steam OS and Ubuntu."
Would that port replace the wine version for those of use already purchased? Steam is terrible to depict if a game for linux is native or otherwise. They slap on the SteamOS logo regardless if its Dosbox, Wine or native.

Earth 2160 Linux is a Wine port. For TW2 we will try to make a native port. Everyone who owns the game(s) will receive an update.

Thats fantastic! Native is of course always preferred, but old titles are fine with wine :-)

I'll buy the other games when they're ported to Linux, unfortunately I already bought Earth 2160 several years ago so I can't show my support with my wallet.

You can get the original DOS version on GOG and the game in dosbox.

Yes I already got it.... but I would like to have HD version, which is only avaliable via Desura....

Yes it is on Steam but no Linux support yet..... On GOG is standard version - not HD (I download it today and test it - this version works great via WINE)

Two Worlds II will get a major update within the next months. Part of the update plan is a native Linux version. But before we start with Linux, we want to do some updates on the graphics engine and GUI.

That is awesome news! I had no idea this was happening.

Amazing!
Topware people please showcase on Youtube some gameplay videos of these amazing games running on Steam machines. Enclave, Planets, Two Worlds and many more are definitely a go when played with the Steam controller.

So it turns out we got 2160 earlier than 2140, which apparently got started to be ported a long time ago :-). Great anyway, there are way too few RTS games on Linux. Thank you!
