i want to give my savegames their own names, but the keyboard doesn't respond to inputs. does anyone have a solution?

Hey, I wanted to play with a friend after some years again Earth 2160, after the first launch after installing it when trying to Connect to EarthNet i got the error message (cant connect since wrong version, please update the game), now a few days later (yesterday) i wanted to try it again since i read you need a registry fix to work but i couldnt find it so i tried it normal again and now when trying to Connect over EarthNet its showing me only "Connection Lost". I right clicked on the game in my library, clicked CD Key and wrote it down, launched the game and it asks for the serial key, I try typing it but it does not write it why?

We made a Linux port and released it. The port is done with Wine and is tested for latest Steam OS and Ubuntu. If any problems occur please post here.
