Have tried with DS4Windows and without DS4Windows using Steam input and still no go..
Now I'm just wondering if the controller is supposed to be vibrating on every step I take lol.
Anyone having some weird controller issues might try changing the controller layout in big picture mode as that fixed a few of my issues.
Try disabling Steam Input: right click the game in Steam, select Properties, choose Controller and select Disable Steam Input.
Try disconnecting any other controllers that might be connected to your system.
Try a different connection method for your controller, such as a different USB port, or try a wired connection instead of wireless.
If that does not help, please contact support here: https://insom.games/RatchetPCSup and supply as much information as possible. Thanks!
EDIT: After relaunching with no other changes it has changed to not detecting the PS5 controller in game at all - despite the controller being fully functional in steam big picture immediately prior and being used to launch the game
I have tried with steam support both enabled and disabled. There are no other controllers connected to my system and i tried turning off my mouse to see if it helped, it didn't.
I own a PS5 controller, it is wireless. I have used it wirelessly for many other PC games with no issues. This game was developed for the PS5, I expect to be able to use a wireless connection with my PS5 controller.
Steam Input has its own Bluetooth driver for DualSense, if a game supports wireless DualSense it's because it has no native support for the controller and is using Steam Input (ugh) instead.
