Open 20 rewards in one day - am I missing something

So to be sure I do it right with all new achievements I did ascend before touching anything today, all achievements requiring doing something in one day/session works fine ( weekly challenge on first try, doing 20 weekly quests) but one - did collect 20 rewards from weekly challenge in one session (30 seconds to be honest and in one session) and no trigger here to get achievement for it...

EDIT:

On second thought - does OPEN - mean collect or have it available for collection (unlocked) if second is true than I did it wrong ascending while some rewards were UNLOCKED but not collected, however if OPEN means unlocked and collected than there is something not right

If you mean "Complete 20 Holiday tasks during the first day" then you have to collect the reward, but you have all of the first day of the challenge to do it in - session doesn't (shouldn't) matter.
Edit: I've just done it (21/25), so it's working for me.

It was working for me as well. But I collected all rewards. And since task 20 is auto-collected (the hat), I could not test your "not collected" scenario.

1) do not claim the dailies (that are the quests, not weeklies aka event/holiday tasks)
2) stockpile them (yes, you can do that)
3) open 20 at once

No it is not that one - this works fine - open 20 quests rewards in one session - this is my problem

Oh, yes, if that's the one you're stuck on then you need to complete but not collect quest rewards until you can collect 20 (or more) in one go.

I had 13 quests ready to collect today + the 7 of this day, should be 20. After finishing the quests 7 and using the 13 stocked the counter on the quest says 6. So I have no idea how it works, I expected 13 maybe if it was stocked only quests but I have no idea how it calculated 6.

I though one session was opening and closing the game but maybe it's actually opening and closing the quest menu because I bought buildings and research between collecting the rewards?

I would have thought opening and closing the game, but I think someone else reported a possible bug with the x challenges in one session achievement, where they'd spent medals in the middle of it and it had reset the counter. It's either a bug or a wording issue.
edit: I did both of those achievements (challenges and quest rewards) in one 'go' (open quest menu, claim all 21 quests, and open challenge menu, 3* all challenge levels)
