I thought throttling the afterburner with the triggers was nice in 4th gen, but I don't think that's a feature here.
Controller will have a disadvantage in not just manual aiming, but also because they will need to hold the controller awkwardly in order to optimally play due to needing to boost + camera control at the same time unless they get a controller with back buttons.
This really only matters in PVP and S-Rank speedruns, but I'd imagine if you're into that there will be separate categories for PC and console anyways.
There's no limited turn speed for mouse. Also there's an option for manual aim. Shown in a preview video. You still have to wait for your AC to actually turn so you can't do instant 180 no scopes.
