I'm gonna share my opinion.

This forum is really heated in these past days. And I don't like to argue on internet but I think it's time to share some of my opinion. And of course take with grain of salt. You may think different than me. Everyone have their own opinion after all.

1. I'm real life CFV player and I know that it's expensive to build some deck.
But this game is like 70$ but you got most of the card and the AI to practice with you.
I know it's hard to compare between physical and digital value. But as CFV fan. I'm appreciate both Physical and Digital of this game and I value them the same.

2. I had a chance to play CFV EX back then and I know that this kind of game is very crucial for CFV community. It's the most easy way for you to try all the card with accurate skill solving. And this time it come with English so I don't mind with copy paste cuz the most mechanic still same.

3. I still go back to play CFV EX from time to time cuz it's full package offline game with no microtransaction. As many point out, if this game is f2p always online I maybe not bother it as much. Really, Thanks Bushiroad and Furyu to still take the route of full package offline game in Dear Days.

4. When I heard the news of this game from like in July, I'm start saving since then so the price is not the problem for me now. Come whatever.

5. When it release, it maybe not a perfect ride cuz this is the first CFV game on steam. But as the other point out. If this game not sold well enough. We may not see another one with English. Also before this I'm really think that the chance of new game after CFV EX is pretty slim. But here we are, If you're truly love CFV you will know for sure that this game is still a bless, although not perfect.

1: Let's face it, I would love to play with physical cards, but because of... [REASONS] ...I am unable to play with physical cards. While I have gotten the start / trial decks IRL, I find this to be a viable alternative.

2: I've not played Vanguard EX, thus I am unable to make a comment about it, but ye, I do like the fact it is releasing in EN.

3: Pretty sure the game still is "Fully offline", it just has some online connectabillity ala online fights and DLC.

4: Same here. Albet, I'm getting the switch version first and then maybe the steam ver. later.

5: It's not the first CFV game on steam, actually, the honour (or dishonour) would be going to Cardfight!! Online, and well... ...that ended up crashing and burning before leaving closed beta.

I'm totally agreed with these guys. It's a must if u are a fans of CFV real life or at least played before and enjoyed it. I have played Real life CFV and quit during G era before they reboot into V format. I spent tons of money in building G deck.
People who can spent in real life CFV should not worry the price tag of this digital. The only thing u need to worry is to get on steam or switch if u have one.

@ScarletAsuna - Heyy I quit on G era too but later come back on V
(If not for CFV EX I maybe not know that I love Gifts mechanic)
And now Persona Ride seems powerful too in its own way and it's fun to chant!

@Teo - Yeah good old days, remember all the effect in the deck is super satisfied back then, Hype for Dear Days too.

i do appreciate the game releasing in english also in steam, i already really wanted to play CFV video game since it on 3DS but because i dont have the console and it was in Japanese, i didnt play it at all, i do watch DF's EX playthrough, it was fun.

sorry im not complaining, since i would buy the game too in the end. One of my interest in DD is online multiplayer, but the price is not appealing for some ppl, card game is already niche genre of games, with 'unfriendly' price it would cut lot of potential player. well i heard same things happen with EX, which multi dead in few months after release.

that would mean it wont supported long time by the dev, i still can see they add DBT04 but beyond that i'm not sure.

I'm sorry for contributing to all the heat the past couple days.

For the record, I'm not in the camp of "don't buy this, it's too expensive!!"... I just wish better for the game. I really love Vanguard and I kind of expected... more effort I guess.
I'm very excited to play with all of you. Regardless of the game's faults, we're all gonna have so much fun, I'm sure of it. I love y'all so much.

@ColorfullOreo - Yoo thanks for sharing too. I may focus on learning card/play story but I agree that MP will slower dead as time goes. (With no cross-play too will speed the progress) Unless we set the date and create room by ourselves.

Also right now we know that DLC will go far to Chronojet set. Maybe they can stop there. Or continue support more set for a little longer. Let's hope.

@Hua - Heyy don't need to sorry. We have our own opinion after all. Also your contribute is so lit.
Just kidding. I mean I come to read this forum since demo is out and there's a lot of complaining on 70$ so I think I can share my view on this as a long time fan.
But I agree that if they put more effort it maybe better and totally more worth to call for 70$.
