From my point of view, no game is really hard. Souls like for example, it is often possible to break the game depending on the class, the equipment and the way of playing. It is also possible to make a game like Pokemon Violet/Scarlet difficult by limiting the number of pokemon in the team without using a healing potion. SMT5V is the same thing, you can set the difficulty to the hardest, you will inevitably find a way to break the game... But personally, I like it! I played Gothic 3, Risen and Elex, after a while you break the game but it's fun. If you really want to make the experience harder, stop using items, remove a demon from your team, there is no shortage of solutions.
Excuse me, I use translator :)
Well balanced rpgs establish the best way to go on a fight and allow you 1 to 2 mistakes in the fight. Difficulty should work in a way to remove the right to a mistake.
That's how it was for some persona games's early game.
DEMAND balance guys, it's not a flex in any way, some people like to actually think and strategise, FF7 and other rpgs did it well, there is no defense for a studio that have been making rpg games for a decade now
Complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from someone who obviously isn't a fan of JRPGs...
"if they are OP, then just ... dont use them lol. guess they want somebody else to hold their hand and make sure they dont succumb to their weakass willpower."
Bro posting this in the P5R topic about OP DLC. And persona fans call SMT fans the toxic ones.
"If you really want REAL hard try curing cancer" but with a wall of text instead.
No it wasn't, stop bragging on Steam, that's just sad.
It was much easier if you knew how a SMT game functions what is effective/what isn't and then repeadedly used that strategy - but that's basically the "flaw" of almost every turn-based rpg. If you didn't know those strats and played with a varied party, the game was decently challenging.
It's just like saying Elden Ring is easy ... yes, if you've played thousands upon thousands of hours of Soulsborne, the game is def. easier than if you were a newb to the genre.
i had the mitama DLC on switch and used it for postgame grind. and you probably level up and gain 10 times more money when using it.
