This has me sold! I'm finishing up Persona 3 on PS5 then moving on to this!
But yeah Megaten games are all more traditional RPGs. They use a different combat system to persona as well called the Press-turn system. (at least in 3 onwards in mainline and a couple of spin offs, Digital Devil Saga is worth a play). Where you get up to 4 actions per turn based on the number of active party members. If you hit a weakness you only use up half a action, critical hits do the same. but if you miss a attack or have it nullified, absorbed or bounced you loose 2 or 3 actions. The AI is under the same restrictions, so taking advantage of it is the way to go.
