1. Not saying there aren't exceptions to the rule, but everyone I know who uses the term ain't about 'personality resonation'. That would be a friendo, not a wifu.

2. You can have sexual and romantic fantasies about other people and things than your partner. Its when it becomes a relationship that's jokingly similar to a life partner that its probably out of hand.

3. I don't have a partner, so no flex.

People like sex and relationship fantasies. Its fine. Just don't let them get out of hand.

Not necessarily. You can still have a celebrity crush or an idol while also still having a healthy romantic relationship at the same time for example. Waifu and Husbando are just terms people use to express that they are a big fan of a certain character. Sure some of them get obsesisve over their Waifus, but certainly not everyone is like that.

How does having waifus and\or husbandos make you a loser if it simply means that a particular character is your favourite? It makes no sense and unnecessarily condescending.
