enemies never miss an attack in hard mode ?
is this the case or am i just unlucky? (i'm talking about in a normal situation without using sukukaja) i haven't dodged any attacks so far, whether the y be physical/magical attacks or state alteration attacks. this wasn't the case for smt 3 or persona 5, which i also did in hard mode :machine_lifeform:

Somewhat yes, same as I remember playing on Switch back then. Sukunda barely does anything. I'm with Ippon Datara with innate talent of evasion with taunt, enemy is 3x sukunda, I never got a miss.

To be fair, dodging an attack without stacked up Sukukaja or Sukunda is an unusual event in SMT 3 as well. Even someone like Matador, who has busted Agility right out of the oven, still barely dodges anything as is.

yh it was quite rare but it did happen, here in almost 20 hours of play, I haven't dodged anything, I don't give a damn about physical or magical attacks, but what frustrates me the most are state alteration techniques, because mine fail almost systematically :steamfacepalm:

I don't mind increasing the difficulty of the game via level, stats and enemy AI, but I find it less enjoyable to increase it by manipulating the rng.

This is why the Agility(?) stat is useless. Someone tested it thorougly and came to the conclusion that you should rather spend all points in Vitality and your main attack-stat instead.

without evasion buffs for you or debuffs for the enemies. really high agi or outleveling the enemies they miss very rarely. if a boss miss its huge their whole turn is basicially ruined.

12 hours here, so far Nahobino dodged once and Mermaid dodged two times.

Which isn't a lot, all things considered, but it seems like Lady Luck holds an exceptional grudge against you :monokuma_DGR:

Until a few recent levels, I invested all the stat points into agility and I have seen like 3 or 4 dodges. None from the Nahobino. Lvl 15 now...

Enemy has +10% hit rate on hard. It's very bad especially the beginning (probably some crap scaling). After boss never missed attack with 2 sukundas I've decided to up vit. But you'll still want high agi to hit enemies

enemies hit and dodge often plus deal more damage on hard unlike you.

Imo 1: The definite guide / explanation for many skill mechanics in SMT V:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Megaten/comments/qx3507/support_skill_mechanics/

"with both sukukaja and sukunda stacked twice, I noticed around 1 ally will dodge against an aoe move. Sometimes 0, sometimes 2. So it seems with both stacked twice it's about 25% increase in evade."

Imo2: If you want to evade better, you might as well try Mirage skills. If it hits, it will save you a lot of turns and MP. Like Fogna, learned at lvl 32 by Forneus. If you have a skill that physically/magically hits and also does mirage, all the better, as it can also crit/weakness and can be combined with "Restore" and /or "Curse Siphon", which will reduce mp cost. You can learn the phys multi hit mirage skill "Mist Rush" with Cu Chulainn at lvl. 55.

Imo 3: Taru/Raku-nda/kaja are the better investments as they'll always work. If your enemy has Dekunda/Dekaja to remove that, use Seal on them, You can make a build that both uses multi target Mirage and Seal skills, there are almost no enemies that are immune to both.
