I can use your own dumb logic to say not having emotes triggers us as well ;)
They dont seem to accept that. We are fully honest about it, but its like trying to get someone to explain to you why they find Fran's voice annoying. You either do or dont, its hard to explain to those that dont, or cant understand.
I guess a good way to explain it, would be the emote is annoying like Kamala's laugh is annoying. Same kind of deal.
But you should probably get professional help instead of playing these online games where a PNG apparently gives you "anxiety".
Blocking emotes does not remove the ability of others to use them.
It's no different than muting a player or disabling chat. I enjoy no chat but a frequent argument of those who pine for it is that it can be muted/disabled. So...what's the problem with disabling emotes?
Just stop dude and go play some other game that isn't online if you're this easily offended by minor things.
Simply pointing out that blocking emotes does not change how people communicate, because it doesn't stop people from emoting. (It's not a gag, it's ear plugs.) The people emoting just have to be OK with no one listening. :D
They're nowhere comparable to a "chat" because a dev can't really control what people say in the chat so, a mute is necessary but they can control what cosmetics goes in the game. If such cosmetic was actually "offensive" then I think they would've removed it already.
