But this is great to see. So far what I'm getting from previews and reviews - setting aside game content - is: well optimized, playable offline, no launcher, DRM-free, no preorder bonuses other than some purely cosmetic ones, the devs stating they aren't planning any DLC for the game necessarily and want it to be a complete standalone product that doesn't feel like it needs more content to resolve its narrative, a quality host of in-game settings options, and even seems to run fairly well on surprisingly low to mid-range hardware.
And it's even priced below the new standard AAA MSRP of $69.99 USD, instead being $59.99 USD.
All the things that under normal circumstances, I would expect people to be lauding a game for.
The optimization news seems to line up with what some others are saying as well, tentatively: https://www.tweaktown.com/news/101392/dragon-age-the-veilguards-ultra-ray-tracing-is-so-well-optimized-on-pc-it-doesnt-need-dlss/index.html
