"CUtIRBTree overflow!" Crashes
So, I saw a post on this around here, but the way they fixed their problem doesn't apply to my situation as I don't run my computer in any sort of power-saving mode. Simply put, SFM crashes after a while of animating or during rendering stating "CUtIRBTree overflow!". I have tried everything I can think of, it's nothing to do with the models/map/lights/etc. and I've tried both verifying the integrity of the game cache as well. I would very much appreciate some input.

Specs are;

Windows 7 64-bit
AMD Athlon II X2 220 (2.80 GHz)
8 GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 5700

Your system specs are fine for SFM. I don't know that error through, I've never seen it before. Ppl were complaining about it in 2010, something about a memory leak while playing CSS and pressing the tab button, and the others I've seen are all related to running game server issues (Source Mod and the number of slots being servered). Sorry I can't help you with this one.

Yeah, that's what my research turned up too. I swear, I always suffer from problems literally no one else on the planet has. Thanks for at least looking into it. IF I find out how to fix this, rest assured that I will be making note of it here so that this doesn't happen to anyone else.

After some removal of CERTAIN adjusted models, it is now http://images.wikia.com/leagueoflegends/images/8/86/Heimerdinger.attack08.ogg .

Turns out, it was because I had messed with something in the element viewer I apparently shouldn't have messed with. I had seen that bit about $alpha and noticed that it was in pattern with how to adjust the color of a texture in the element viewer. As such, I had added it in the same way to make a specific part of a model disappear. Apparently that is what caused the error and crash to occur.

Never underestimate the cause of an issue being something of your own design.

It is worth noting, however, that deleting the attribute in the models animation set element viewer tab does NOT make that part of the model reappear, but DOES correct the issue. So this method can be used to accomplish the end goal, it's just that it is a dangerous way of doing so.

Though I suspect, this will be an issue no one else but I would have encountered.

P.S. Sorry for the links to Heimerdinger quotes, but when I have a thought spurred on by something unrelated, I like to give it credit.

I actually just started getting this error today. It's only occurring when I try to download models through the workshop. I don't know what's going on with it. :c

Help, I am getting that exact error, except, its only on one scene, all the other scenes render/export perfectly, but that one scene wont render, I have not touched the element viewer, and it has nothing different in it than any other scene, any help would be greatly appreciated since I need to finish this for school by monday

i believe its mostly caused from either to many addons/dlc's. Or an unsupported or outdated addon mostly scripts these are most commonly caused from ones that mess with the apps base settings E.G i got it because or downloading 2 addons- more lighting settings - and- more camera settings

but one other main thing which i just learned is that it may be from to many materials overlaying the same model say like to many "texture fix" addons for the same model
