How to set viewport in full screen? Please Help
Hi everyone

I'm still new to SFM. Some basic questions to ask:

1.How to set viewport in one full screen?
2. If the loaded map appears to be black, is there a way to quickly relocate instead of moving mouse blindly?
3. Is it possible to change the size of models?
4.Models from garrys mod don't show in SFM, just white bones. what should I do?

Thank you!

Answer 1:
What do you mean? If you mean one viewport instead of two, several of the presets show that. If you mean having a viewport take up the whole window, that'd be a terrible idea.

Answer 2:
Outside of loading a map with an info_player_teamspawn, no.

Thank you!
Yes I mean the viewport take up the whole window.....I want to record the screen while it's in movie mode, using Camtasia Studio. The biggest can get now is 1280x720, I'd prefer to have it recorded in full screen(1920x1080), don't know if it's possible....

What do you mean by answer two?

When you load a map, the game sets your initial camera position at a TF2 spawnpoint if one exists. If it doesn't, it just leaves it in a default position that's probably outside the map.

Why do you want to record with camtasia instead of just rendering out the movie in 1080?

I've tried. but the maximum is 720p? Where can I find 1080p(1920x1080)?

Actually I just need a few long take shots from SFM, edit them in premeirepro with other viideo clips, that would be easier to just screen recording cause I'm not very familiar with SFM doing long moving shots:( I'll learn then but now need quicker way....

So there's no way to make it full screen right??

Thanks I see!

There's no way to make it fullscreen, and even then recording with screen capture software would look like crap. No motion blur, no DoF, grainy shadows and AO, potentially lower / uneven framerate, etc etc...

You can render in 1080p though: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SFM/Rendering_at_1080p

Thanks for the link!
But when I exported it to mov, why there's only a _msi.txt file? Where is the video?

Hi It's me again,
1.The model only shows white bone when it's outside the map.
2. when I get close to a re-scaled model, it disappears... It only shows itself in a certain distance.

Is there a way to let it always show?

Every model has two root bones. rootTransform and a "real" root bone. With most characters it's typically the pelvis. Try scaling that instead of rootTransform, it should fix it.
