Emotions do not work with lip-sync
I can't move characters eyes nor make them smile when they talk. I don't want to do a video where characters are emotionless but their voice is full of energy, hapiness, anger and sadness.

Can you help me?

Don't select the entire Face group when extracting phonemes. Just select the "lower face" group.

Then, after extracting, tweak to taste.

"Won't let me" sounds like a strange description - What, specifically, are you trying to do in order to change their expressions? The description sounds like you're moving sliders, but they're snapping back into place.

That's right. With lip-sync I can't close their eyes, move their eyebrows and I can't add even small smile on characters faces when they speak. They look like characters from Matrix movies where everybody look serious but their voices are full of energy.

You have to be in the motion editor or graph editor to actually make changes to sliders.

No kidding? I guess I have to dig deeper myself and find out what is wrong.

you must have done something else, but just extracting phonemes won't kill your ability to use the sliders. if it did you would never be able to tweak the animation after.
