Rig model for SFM use
I have a pack from FleetAdmiral1 on facepunch that has some models in it I would like to use, however I don't know how to port them into SFM, as the pack contains seperate peices of the model in DDS, TGA, and MTL files.

You understand those are not models, but rather materials, right?

I understand that, however I don't know how to use them to create a model. I've never even attempted to create one before

MTL is a model file.
MTL is a material file containing materials (diffuse textures, how tight the phong is, etcetera) for OBJ models. MTL is not a model file on its own, just materials. It's basically the Wavefront version of Source's VMTs (while OBJ is the Wavefront version of Source's MDLs).

Gotta agree with Zappy. Did you get the OBJ file along with the other files? Also, if you understand that they are texture files, you understand that you can't make a model out of them, right? Unless...you plan to make it from scratch.

Dammit, I was thinking of STL...

I looked up the person you mentioned, it's the Star Wars models right? I took the top folder and found DAE and PSK files. They're model files. (For sure this time.)
.dae is Collada and .psk is ActorX. Blender has import for the first by default and there's a script online for importing PSKs.
