Film Set Props?
Has anyone found any links to any film set/filmmaking related prop packs? Things such as cameras, studio lights, boom mics etc.
I’ve looked all over and found no sign of anything so far.

Have you tried searching the SFM workshop? You can type in "camera" into the search bar and you'll get a bunch of models/props to subscribe to. Are you looking for a specific art style for a specific game? Or are you looking for a specific model? I mean I just typed it in and there are few models available.

I’ve searched the Workshop and while there are a couple of cartoony Super 8 cameras and DSLRs, there’s nothing even close to the equipment I’m looking for - actual film set equipment. I wouldn’t have posted this without looking through the workshop first.

I apologize. I wasn't trying to offend, and my answer might have sounded a-hole-ly. Some people just forget we have a workshop and sometimes I'm one of those people if I'm stressed and need a "solution now." Sorry but here's a longer answer.

You can also try SFM Lab.

There are not a lot of realistic looking props here which was why I asked if you were looking for a specific art style/game/model.

As far as realistic props go for a studio these are the only ones in the workshop under certain keywords and I'm sure you've seen these already:
Lights
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=856012472&searchtext=light
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=800080571&searchtext=prop (not too realistic but its a prop that isn't focused on in most scenes anyways)

Cameras
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=387907698&searchtext=camera
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=785484765&searchtext=camera

If you're really patient and have a bunch of time on your hands you can search the entire workshop without typing any keywords. You might find what you need but that's 300+ pages to comb through but sometimes you'll find treasure posts that have little to no downloads because the creator forgot to add tags or keywords to make it easily searchable.

Turbo Squid (never used it personally) has a bunch of free or paid for 3D models but you'll be responsible for converting it yourself.

Deviantart is also popular but a lot of previews are burried every second and the creators tend to provide their own websites/dropbox download links.

I didn’t mean to sound defensive either in my reply, which I think may have come across. Thanks for sourcing those light models! Didn’t see them anywhere. I’ve got the cameras and they’ve both been useful for various bits of work but not necessarily this one - I’m really surprised a proper ARRI style camera isn’t up yet.
Sadly I’m a little too inexperienced to know how to convert anything that’s not already in the right format!

When you're ready to learn, Steam has loads of tutorials for getting started on converting models or creating them from scratch and bringing them into SFM. Need a blender tutorial? Steam has that too. I'm not an expert and I often post threads asking for help when it comes to the conversion and qc writing process. The community is a lot more friendly than you think. A lot of veterans are constantly searching the threads to offer technical assistance in those areas and if you're really struggling you can ask in a thread for 1 on 1 coaching and someone will offer once they find out where you are stuck. I'm in the process of making a decorations/furniture pack and I still go back and ask noob questions. You should look into it because its a useful skill to have and a lot of us do it to be more independent and to be able to contribute to the workshop in the future.

You're right, I really should look into porting. I think I was put off when I spent a LONG time weight painting a FUSE model in Blender and it just looked awful, but it seems like it's possible to convert with the original weight painting intact. If I come across anything I especially want in SFM I'll look into the tutorials and the forums.
